How to really get rid of a migration

November 4, 2016

I'm human, I change my mind a lot. So when I renamed a migration and tried to run

php artisan migrate:refresh --seed

I got the red block of death:

[ErrorException]
include(/home/vagrant/dev/project/vendor/composer/../../database/migrations/2016
_05_18_211307_create_people_table.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory

... I know the file doesn't exist anymore... I deleted it 5 commits ago, so what now?

I needed to dump the composer autoloader file.

composer dump-autoload

And then

php artisan migrate:refresh --seed

No red blocks!! Yay!
