Override Post Register

Everything I searched for regarding overriding the default register methods said to override the postRegister method, however, that method is never called if you are using the default Route::auth() in your routes.php file. If you run
php artisan route:list, you will see that
AuthController@register is called not
AuthController@postRegister. This means that if you need to add logging or an event to your registration process, check your routes file and see what the
Route::auth() is using.
